Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress (ISASP)

Isaac Newton Christian Academy participates in the Iowa Statewide Assessment of Student Progress (ISASP) annually.  Students begin taking the tests in third grade. 

The staff analyzes the data to impact our instruction. We disaggregate it by subject, gender,
grade level, and grades over time. We determine where our areas of strength lie, and where we need to improve instruction to continue to challenge students and to provide extra support and instruction for those who are not yet proficient.

Our resource teachers provide support to individuals and small groups. They also monitor progress throughout the year. Our instructional coach is in the classrooms to set goals and help with our teaching practices to deliver the best instruction for student needs.
